Many TLC viewers consider Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods as one of the most controversial 90 Day Fiance. couples. Moreover, the pair has never been a fan-favorite. 

To make things worse, the restaurant Liz works at has started using Big Ed’s photo on their to-go boxes. As expected, this triggered a major backlash from angry fans.

TLC viewers were upset after Ed was roped in for season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life. So, it should be no surprise to the restaurant showcasing their connection to the controversy-plagued reality TV star could end badly.

If the restaurant was hoping to cash in on Big Ed’s notoriety, it should be ready to draw flak from fans who do not like him. In The Single Life season 1, Big Ed was looking for a new girlfriend, after breaking up with Rose Vega on  90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Liz’s Restaurant Gets Backlash For Promoting Ed Brown

Big Ed and Liz had a tumultuous relationship not only on but also off the show. The couple called it quits towards the end of the season. Despite all the drama, Ed and Liz got engaged. Now, the pair is set to appear on The Single Life season 2, and fans are not happy.

The restaurant Liz works at is called Encontro, in San Diego, California. In a recent review, a patron shared pictures of their to-go boxes with Ed’s face. “What the F@&&!?,” the reviewer commented.

Thanks for making me lose my appetite!” the patron called out Encontro for their decision to use a “Z-list celebrity face” on their takeout boxes. It is still unclear why Big Ed stickers were on the to-go boxes or how they got there.

According to a report from ScreenRant, this is the only review complaining about the stickers. In other words, it could be an isolated incident. However, fans have been chiming in.

“That’s disturbing and pretty sad that the restaurant has stooped that low,” a commenter wrote on a now-deleted Reddit post. Fans were confident that it was a terrible idea for the restaurant to promote its connection to Big Ed.
