90 Day Fiance star Michael Ilesanmi wished the franchise’s most controversial cast member, and his wife Angela Deem a happy birthday. The Nigerian man shared a heart-rending message for the American meemaw on Instagram.
Back in Jan. 2020, Angie and Michael tied the knot in Nigeria. The couple had a lot of issues on season 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Michael did not want Angela to get a weight loss surgery and disapproved of her closeness with her doctor who did it.
Angela Says ‘I’m Done’ To Michael
After flashing to the cameras, Angela said “I’m done” to her husband, and even claimed that their marriage wasn’t valid. Fans were restlessly waiting to know what Michael was up to, but he does not have his own Instagram.
Much to the relief of 90 Day Fiance viewers, Angela went live recently on TikTok with Michael, confirming they are still together. On the downside, this video suggested that he wasn’t in the United States.
Angela Turns 56
On Dec. 9, Angela turned 56. The reality TV personality celebrated her birthday by sharing fun dancing videos with her grandchildren on Instagram. Michael made a surprise appearance in one of the videos.
The slideshow has the text, “Happy Birthday my love” on it. Moreover, it shows the pair dancing with screenshots of them video chatting. Michael used the location tag to confirm that he is still in “Lagos, Nigeria,” per ScreenRant.

“I’m sorry I can’t be there with you to celebrate.” he wrote in the caption. Michael went on to admit that he is counting down “the minutes” until he can meet his wife after two years.
In another post, Angela wrote, “So thankful for my MOTHER IN-LAW WHO ALWAYS HAS MY BACK.. LOVE YOU SO MUCH.” This is surprising, considering that Michael’s mother did not approve of Angela on the show because she can’t have babies.

However, some fans claim that it wasn’t Michael who posted the sweet birthday message for Angela. They believe Angela herself created and shared the post. Aside from that, they think Angela shared a picture of his mother to show things are well between her and Michael.
