Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have invited Queen Elizabeth II to their daughter Lilibet’s Christening, much to the Royal family’s chagrin.
Despite stepping down as senior royals and moving to the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not lost contact with the Duke of Sussex’s family members. So, it is understandable that the couple has offered Queen Elizabeth II an opportunity to attend their daughter Lilibet’s Christening.
The invitation has left the Royal family in a difficult position. Both, Harry and Meghan have raised questions over their integrity since their interview with Oprah Winfrey. As if that weren’t enough, they have entered a controversial book deal. The book is likely to shed light on some unrevealed truths about the Royal family.

“Harry and Meghan have made this offer but a lot of people are shocked by the sheer nerve of it,” a source told Mirror earlier this month. “They may genuinely want to see the Queen but it’s breathtaking given what they’ve put her through this year.”
Moreover, Harry and Meghan have made their appearances at multiple Royal functions even after leaving. The Royal family does not know what they should do. ” “Her Majesty’s staff have not responded so far,” the source added.
“In fact there has also been discussion about Christmas — and whether an invitation should be sent to Harry and Meghan, after they spurned one last year.”
“The Queen is stil] fond [of her grandkids,” the source said. The Queen’s decision is likely to have dramatic ramifications regardless of what she decides to do. Moreover, this could be a chance to put their issues behind them.
The feud in the royal family has been an ongoing thing. I feel this is the right time for the Queen to embrace her grandson and daughter-in-law.
Her Royal Majesty should attend the christening ceremony of the little one.
