President Trump receives substantial income for the work he has done in movies and television over the past three decades. According to the financial disclosure forms in 2019, which were released on July 31 revealed the details.
The forms have all the financial income and holdings. The majority of his earnings are earned through his real estates business such as Turnberry resort in Scotland and The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. Besides that, Trump also filed his residuals and pension from Hollywood.
Trump Productions LLC is one of the biggest sources of income as far as Hollywood is concerned. The company started in 2004 and it produced The Celebrity Apprentice and The Apprentice for NBC network.
Trump Productions earned more than $1.6 million in 2019 that is a reflection of his earning from syndication and streaming rights from The Apprentice reality show. Given that, Trump also received pensions from Hollywood that is into six figures such as Screen Actors Guild that generated revenue of $77,808 in 2019.
He also received a $8,724 pension from the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. While SAG and AFTRA merged in 2012, their pre-merger pensions remain separate. Trump’s SAG pension is down since 2015 that was supposed to be more than $110,000.
Trump participated in the SAG pension plan in 1992 as per the filing and the same year Trump had a cameo in Home Alone 2: Lost In New York. However, he began participating in the AFTRA plan in 1989. He also acted in movies such as Ghosts Can’t Do It.
Trump earned residuals for his on-screen work and as per the filing, NBCUniversal paid him $201-$1,000 for portraying “Waldo’s Dad” in 1994, Rascals. Warner Bros. also paid him $201-$1,000 for undisclosed work and received $201 from Entertainment Partners, which was also not disclosed in the filings.
