90 Day Fiance star Big Ed is looking for love on the franchise’s upcoming spin-off 90 Day: The Single Life on Discovery Plus.
Big Ed is bent on finding love on the impending spinoff of the TLC hit, 90 Day Fiance, however, things usually do not turn out the way he hopes. “I am single and I am currently updating my dating profile,” he said in PEOPLE‘s exclusive sneak peek, which is slated to air on Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Bares All.
Known for dressing up in costumes for his dating profile pictures, including Elvis and a karate outfit, Big Ed said he wants people to laugh, noting that he thinks costumes are a great way to break the ice. “Personality and confidence are what people are attracted to,” he added.
The clip shows the 55-year-old reality TV star spending time with a younger woman on his outdoor couch, sitting beside his dog, Teddy, and drinking wine. ” “I want you to know that I care about you. You know, I do,” he tells her, adding that he doesn’t want to rush things and admits that he likes being with her.
“I appreciate it. Thank you for having me over,” she says and gets up to leave. At the door, she goes in for a goodbye hug, but Big Ed takes this opportunity to kiss her on her lips. She rejects his attempt to plant a kiss on her lips by turning her head down.
“You can’t do that,” she tells him, but Big Ed asks, “Why not? I kissed your nose.” “No, I didn’t know you were going in for that,” she says. “I didn’t either. It was spontaneous,” he explains. “No, not yet,” she tells him before giving him a second hug and walking to her car.
“That was weird. Be careful, drive safe.” Big Ed says as he acknowledges the awkward moment. During an interview with 90 Day Bares All host Shaun Robinson, Big Ed recalls the moment, saying that he “felt like an idiot.”
90 Day: The Single Life will feature a group of six singles from the franchise as they start a journey to find love once again. The audience will see Big Ed, who went to the Philippines to meet his former flame Rosemarie Vega for the first time in season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days?
