Meghan Markle Is Set To Celebrate Her 40th Birthday With Close Friends

Meghan Markle is set to celebrate her 40th birthday on August 4, but plans for her upcoming birthday celebration have been revealed.

If reports making the rounds online are anything to go by, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle plans to host a “small gathering” to celebrate her 40th birthday. Moreover, the former Suits actress has hired Oprah Winfrey’s party planner for the same, according to The Mirror. The gathering will also host about 60 people along with husband Prince Harry and their kids, son Archie, and daughter Lilibet Diana at the couple’s California home.

Furthermore, Markle’s 40th birthday celebrations could involve an evening of food and drinks. Aside from that,  some close friends will grace the bash. “Meghan wants a small gathering. She has invited about 65 people. The list includes her closest friends and family. An insider revealed that Oprah recommender Colin to her. Oprah has a reputation for always putting on fabulous parties.

Moreover, Markle and Prince Harry will be hosting the birthday party at the California home, according to The Sun, because a public venue may “invite trouble” and it will be easier for them to maintain their privacy.

Considering that Markle has taken her party suggestions from Oprah, Winfrey will be one of the big celebrity guests for the party. The report suggests that Gayle King will be on the guest list. Last year, Meghan and Harry had a private birthday celebration in the US. This was their first one after moving into their Montecito home.
