Good News! Dwayne Johnson welcomed a new cast member to his upcoming movie, “Black Adam” and it is none other than Uli Latukefu, who stars in the popular sitcom, “Young Rock.”
“Raising a @teremana toast to this awesome news as @ulilatukefu is a special human being,” Johnson captioned. “He embodies relentless hard work and inspiring humility – and it’s my pleasure to welcome one of our #YoungRock stars to our production of #BlackAdam”
“Congratulations uso!!” he concluded. “Can’t wait to see you shine and light up the big screen! #BlackAdam”
On the other hand, Latukefu, 36, took to Instagram to praise Johnson for the sitcom, which is based on Johnson’s real-life events.
“Quick story: I’d burst a blood vessel in my eye while training and was on the way to the doctors and got a text (don’t know how he got my number but.. it’s Dwayne)” he captioned.
“Hey Uso (Samoan for brother) its DJ, let me know if you have two minutes to talk”
Me: *thinking* eyeball or Dwayne, eyeball or Dwayne..
“hey DJ, yeah I’m free!” We spoke and he broke the good news.
DJ: “I wanted to be the first to say congratulations, you got the role”
Me:
DJ: “heeello?” was a little embarrassing but that’s how it went. God is great and I’m grateful.
Thank you Uso @therock. Honoured to join the team. #blackadam”
