Friends reunion special dubbed Friends: The Reunion, which will be graced by Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, has a release date.
The first teaser for the Friends reunion special is out. Taking to her Instagram account on Thursday, Jennifer Aniston shared the teaser, along with other details.

“It’s official! The #FriendsReunion premieres May 27th on @HBOMax — could we BE any more excited?!” she captioned the teaser.
The teaser features an acoustic version of the theme tune with the cast walking into the distance. It also reveals the release date of the special dubbed, Friends: The Reunion. It will premier on streaming service HBO Max on May 27.
On Thursday, the makers announced the guestlist for the episode, which includes Malala Yousafzai, Reese Witherspoon, Maggie Wheeler, James Michael Tyler, Tom Selleck, Christina Pickles, Thomas Lennon, Mindy Kaling, Larry Hankin, Kit Harington, Elliott Gould, Lady Gaga, Cara Delevingne, Cindy Crawford, James Corden, BTS, David Beckham, and Justin Bieber.

Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer will be returning to Friends’ original soundstage Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, California for the unscripted reunion special.
They will be talking about fan-favorite characters: Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Ross, respectively.
Many fans noted in the comment section that they, “Can’t breathe” after watching the teaser. Actress Reese Witherspoon also commented on Instagram, “So EMOTIONAL about this.” One of the users commented, “OMGOMG I am counting the seconds !!!!!” while another noted, “You got me the reunion for my birthday?”

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Courteney Cox talked about the Friends reunion special, telling the host it was “unbelievable” to meet and film with her co-stars again. She went on to reveal that the reunion “was so emotional” and there are “a lot of special surprises.”

This is my favorite sitcom of all times. The reunion was definitely very nostalgic. Any day I can watch any episode of ”Friends” over any other TV series.
