Gwen Stefani’s oldest son Kingston Rossdale paid a sweet tribute to his sister Daisy Lowe, who celebrated her birthday in lockdown.

Taking to his Instagram account, the No Doubt frontwoman’s firstborn shared a sweet throwback photo of himself holding hands with his older sister. “Happy birthday @daisylowe. Love you,” he wrote in the caption section.

Daisy is Gavin Rossdale’s oldest child. She has a close relationship with her father and his other sons Zuma and Apollo. Daughter of model Pearl Lowe, Daisy often visited her family in the United States prior to the pandemic but has been unable to see them over the past year citing the still-raging COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite their strong relationship, the Bush frontman and his daughter have faced several challenges over the years. After Daisy’s birth, Gavin was made godfather, and it was believed that the model was the daughter of Daisy’s ex-boyfriend, Bronner Handwerger.

When she was 14, Daisy found out that neither her mother nor Bronner shared her O-type blood, and she asked for a paternity test to be taken. Pearl lost Gavin as a friend when the DNA test results were revealed, but the musician and Daisy continued to remain close, Hello reported.

“While Daisy and I are close, things haven’t always been easy. It was a bit hairy for six months when I told her I suspected her father was the musician Gavin Rossdale,” the mother-of-four told Easy Living magazine.

“Gavin told me if Daisy, then 14, had a DNA test, he’d never speak to me again and he’s kept his word. I lost him as a friend, but Daisy has a relationship with him, which is great,” she added. Gavin, who is usually private about his family life, previously admitted that he spent time with Daisy in London back in 2017.

“I have four children, Daisy who is here and doing her own thing,” he told Daily Star at the time. “But I also have three young children and wherever they are I am compelled to be, they need me like tea needs milk.” Watch this space for the latest celebrity news.
