Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made to the Time 100 list this week as the 100 Most Influential People in the globe.
The publication featured the couple together on the cover page this time. Pari Dukovic took the picture. The Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Sussex have posed together for a magazine cover shoot for the first time.
The time magazine gave a sweet birthday present to the 37-year-old Prince on September 15.
In the Words of José Andrés
Harry and Meghan were honored in the “Icons” category this year. Chef, humanitarian, and founder of the World Central Kitchen José Andrés wrote about their impact through their global humanitarian initiatives for the publication. José is a friend to the Royal couple and spoke candidly about their contributions.

“Springing into action is not the easy choice for a young duke and duchess who have been blessed through birth and talent, and burned by fame. It would be much safer to enjoy their good fortune and stay silent,” Andrés wrote.
Stylists Nina and Clare Hallworth dressed Harry and Meghan for the photoshoot. They have styled other celebrities, too, including Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, Brad Pitt, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
On the cover, Meghan wore a white shirt with matching high-waisted trousers while Harry leaned on her shoulder in an all-black outfit.
Due to the compassion and humanitarian approach of the erstwhile Royals who gave up their Royal duties at the beginning of Jan 2020, Time decided to include them in their list of 100 most influential people this year.

When the world was busy with welcoming the New Year, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan announced their decision to give up their royal titles. They announced to give up state funding and repay at least $3 million in taxpayer money used to refurbish their official residence at Windsor Castle.
Archewell Foundation
After quitting their royal duties the Royal couple moved from Britain to California. The Sussexes, who are parents to two kids, Archie and Lilibet-Diana, have done many philanthropic works through their Archewell Foundation.
The Royal couple built the Archewell foundation in October 2020 with the vision to offer mental-health support to Black women and girls in the U.S. The foundation also contributes towards feeding those affected by natural disasters in India and the Caribbean.

The Duke of Sussex also signed up to two new roles since his departure from Britain. He has devoted his time to US professional coaching and mental health firm BetterUp. The Price collaborated with the Aspen Institute’s new Commission on Information Disorder too for the same cause.
He also collaborated with Winfrey for the Apple TV+ series “The Me You Can’t See” about mental health.
The former soldier Prince Harry also signed deals with Netflix and Spotify to earn money for the foundation and use it for charitable causes.
40X40 Initiative
Meghan turned 40 this year on August 4, and she launched the 40×40 initiative. In the first week of August Melissa McCarthy was featured in a video with the duchess for the 40×40 initiative. The duo inspired women to offer 40 minutes of mentorship to other women re-entering the workforce.
Other Royals on Time Cover
While Harry and Meghan are the only royals on this year’s list, this isn’t the first time a member of the British royal family has made the Time 100. Both Harry and Meghan have appeared on the list before, as have Prince William and Kate, and Queen Elizabeth.
