The new controversial Lifetime television movie titled “Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace” will show how Meghan Markle dies in a car accident. Just like Meghan’s real-life mother-in-law, Princess Diana died in real life and it is upsetting many fans.

In this movie, Meghan will be dying in a car crash just like Princess Diana died. The TV viewers found this depiction completely gross and labeled it as ”sick” and ”tasteless.”

This film is based on the lives of the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan. The plot revolved around the decision of the Royal couple to leave the Royal family. The opening scene showed Meghan dying in a car crash which took the viewers back to the fateful day of August 31, 1997.

Paparazzi had chased Princess Diana and she died in a car crash in 1997 along with her then-boyfriend Dodi Fayed. Even in the opening scene of this film, Meghan was surrounded by paparazzi in a similar car crash.

The Fans’ Reaction

The upcoming movie will be premiered on Lifetime TV on Labor Day, September 6 at 8 p.m. ET. The trailer was released by Lifetime and this is the third installment of Harry and Meghan’s life together.

None of the fans had anything good to talk about the upcoming movie on the YouTube page. “When you think they couldn’t possibly sink any lower … surprise!!” wrote one. “Hard to be trashier than the Kardashians, but these two have succeeded,” wrote another.

This film also included the famous interview which the couple had given to Oprah Winfrey on CBS in March 2021. Viewers discussed this interview across the globe, and people talked about racism and monarchy prevailing in the British Royal family.

The surprising thing about this movie is that the makers created some parts based on real-life incidents and the rest based on the scriptwriter’s imagination.

In the first scene of this movie, the viewers will get to see Prince Harry baffled after the accident. There was an overturned car on the scene and Princess Meghan was pleading for help. It was a dream sequence and Prince Harry woke up to reality with Meghan and Archie sleeping next to him.

Actor Jordan Dean is playing the role of Prince Harry in the film. Sydney Morton who is playing the role of Meghan wanted to approach the role with care. Since she was depicting the role of a living person, she wanted to be sensitive and grounded.
