Finally, Queen Elizabeth II will meet her great-grandchildren. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will attend the upcoming Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations along with their kids, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 11 months. The Queen’s Jubilee will be celebrated in June this year.
So, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be attending the impending Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the couple’s spokesperson told Page Six.
“Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are excited and honored to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children,” the spokesperson said.

So, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor will be joining their parents on their UK trip. Also, this confirms that the Queen will finally get to meet her great-granddaughter.
For those who are unaware, Lilibet was named after Queen Elizabeth’s childhood nickname. Moreover, Lili could meet her cousins – Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly not make it for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Rumors were rife that Harry will skip Queen’s Jubilee to play Polo for the Los Padres’ full season in California.
However, the family will not make a public appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony. However, the Queen, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Charles, and other working royal family members will make their official public appearance.
In its statement, the Palace said: “After careful consideration, the Queen has decided this year’s traditional trooping the colour balcony appearance on Thursday, 2 June, will be limited to Her Majesty, and those members of the royal family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen.”
