Meri Brown is answering a tough question from Sister Wives viewers, who accuse her husband Kody Brown of mentally abusing her.
One of Sister Wives fan-favorite cast members, Meri Brown recently admitted that she was unapologetically being herself. However, the reality TV personality’s marriage to Kody Brown received backlash from fans.
With Meri and Kody’s estrangement intensifying, it is further clear that the pair’s marriage is on the rocks. Sister Wives fans have urged Meri multiple times to leave Kody, and find someone who loves her.
However, Meri has clarified that she isn’t planning to leave. On Monday, Meri shared an Instagram post highlighting the roles she has to fill in her life. In her chin-in-her-hand selfie, she shared an inspirational message with her followers.

“I was called to love, not to hate. I was called to accept, not to condemn. I was called to be confident, not to fear. I was called to serve, not to neglect. I’m here to love, to learn, to serve, to impact others in a positive way,” she captioned the post.

“I am not here to judge, to correct, to hold accountable, anyone but myself. I’m here to be a safe place, to have an open mind, heart, and home, and to make others feel loved and cared about,” the LuLaRoe ambassador added.
“I am here to laugh, to enjoy life, and live it to it’s fullest. I fiercely love and protect those in my inner circle, and that circle is far reaching,” Meri wrote.
“My calling, my job here on this earth, is to live a life of passion, of confidence, of authenticity, true to who I am, and true to who God made me to be. I am unapologetically me. ???”
Her post gained support from her followers. Aside from this, she received comments from fans who gave Meri advice on her marriage to Kody, as per a report by Monsters & Critics.
Meri Calls Out Sister Wives Who Accuse Kody Of Mistreating Her
Meri clapped back at Sister Wives fans who implied that her estranged husband, Kody, mentally abuses her. Referring to Meri’s caption about what she’s being called to do, the commenter wrote, “But, you’re not called here to be mentally abused.”
“I don’t recall saying anything or feeling anything about that,” Meri replied. “If you’re projecting, I’ll pray for you ?”
Another commenter chimed in suggesting that there wasn’t much for her in her current marriage to Kody. “There is not much here for you though,” the commenter told Meri. “It is about everyone else but you, except the confidence part.”
“I don’t understand what you’re implying. I’m glad I feel what I feel, and shared it,” she continued.
Contrary to her followers’ advice, Meri has confirmed that she will not be leaving Kody. To recall, Sister Wives Tell All host Sukanya Krishnan asked her why she stays in the plural marriage, Meri replied, “Because I love [Kody].”
“I just feel peace when I think about staying in the family because that’s what I want,” Meri added. “That’s what I know is right for me.”
