It is no secret that YouTube is an open platform for everyone. It can be difficult for the American video-sharing website to moderate the channels and the comments. As a result, the channel owners have to moderate their own channels and comments.

Since very creators take the efforts of moderating their comments section due to lack of time, so which unfortunately has led to very irrelevant comments being left on videos featuring underage.

Since YouTube has declared that they are going to take strict action to prevent such comments by disabling all the inappropriate comments on the videos that might feature the children and people who are underage.

Recently, they are going on disabled all the irrelevant comments from almost tens of millions of video that could be an example of marauding behavior.

The main aim of these efforts is to focus on the videos starring young people and they will keep a track of these videos at risk over for the upcoming months.

For a period of a few months, they will be unpermissive when it comes to allowing videos showing young minors and videos involving older minors that can be a danger of attracting predatory actions.

The comments section for select creators will not be disabled, but they will have to keep a check off their comments aside from using YouTube’s own moderation tools in order to ensure “low risk of predatory behavior.

YouTube has recently advertisements on videos that had predatory comments.

While YouTube’s decision to disable comments on videos with minors seems like a positive move some YouTubers aren’t happy with the resolution.

Some optimistic creators, on the other hand, believe YouTube’s decision is temporary and they will soon propose a more creator-friendly and indelible solution.
